FreeMe KZN Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre exists to help in the care
and rehabilitation of injured and sick wildlife.
The original FreeMe Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre was founded in
Gauteng 1997 by rehabilitators who realised there was not enough organised
care for injured indigenous wildlife in the suburban areas.
It was when the existing rehabilitators found the growing need for
the establishment of a trauma/ rehabilitation facility in the Midlands
that they approached FreeMe in Gauteng to set up a FreeMe project in
Kwa Zulu Natal.
Our office is open from 08:00 to 16:00 weekdays for the admittance
of animals.
We do run educational talks on a limited basis, booking
is essential.
