Bushbuck Reintroduction Project
FreeMe Wildlife, Zimbali Coastal Resort & Estate, Zimbali Estate Management Association, Shemungwe Game Capture, Wild Tomorrow Fund, Mfuleni Private Game Reserve, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife were involved in a collaborative effort of reintroducing Bushbuck back to the beautiful landscape of the Mfuleni Conservancy in an effort to repopulate this Zululand area.
Wild Tomorrow Fund has a new habitat protection project, the Mfuleni Conservancy, a corridor of land that lies between the Mun-Ya-Wana Conservancy which is home to Phinda Private Reserve and the UNESCO World Heritage iSimangaliso Wetland Park. FreeMe Wildlife is proud to be associated with this amazing project.
This project forms part of FreeMe Wildlife’s “Islands of hope” concept, where individuals and/or organisations form a haven for wildlife, becoming a source supply as wildlife flourish in a protected environment, enabling the growth to “spill over” into protected and well managed areas in need.
